Decarpentry's career path so far, has been lined with one success after the other. His career began at the 1998 Special Vechta Auction, where he left the ring as the top lot. He won the stallion performance test at the Kl�sterhof in Medingen following wins in conformation show classes in 1999 (victorious i.a. at the Oldenburg State Riding Horse Championship in Rastede). Then in 2000, Decarpentry won a considerable number of dressage horse classes at novice and elementary level and also qualified for the Federal German Dressage Championship where he attained a good placement in the finals.
